Gordon Square Arts District (GSAD) will again defy superstition and delight the senses with Hip 2B Square: Fear No Art. The arts-based party, now in its sixth year, has become much anticipated, with a blend of arts and culture, entertainment, great food and drink and performances.

Hip 2B Square honors Sally & Sandy Cutler, well known as business, civic, philanthropic and cultural leaders. At the helm of Eaton Corp. since 2000, Sandy has been involved in many of the initiatives that have shaped our community. He was recently ranked in the top 10 of the Power 100 by Cleveland Magazine Community Leader, is a co-chair of the Republican National Convention Host Committee and sits on the boards of the Musical Arts Association, the United Way of Greater Cleveland, and the Greater Cleveland Partnership, in addition to having served in the past on the Cleveland Play House and Cleveland Museum of Natural History boards and on the Visiting Committee of the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. Sally serves as Vice Chair of the Board of The Cleveland Museum of Art, chaired The Friends of the Cleveland School of the Arts and the Board of Vocational Guidance Services, and has led, counseled and supported many organizations in arts, education, preservation of natural areas and mental health. Individually and together, they have made a significant mark on this community.

Honorary event co-chairs are David and Karen Doll, Dick and Pat Pogue and Audrey and Albert Ratner, each long-associated with leadership of the successful district that’s sparked a cultural revival on Cleveland’s near west side. Host Committee Chairs are Fred and Laura Ruth Bidwell.
