Homecoming Parade Tonight; Police Say to Expect Traffic Delays
The festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will impact traffic on Detroit Rd. State Route 611 and Stoney Ridge.

AVON, OH - It's Homecoming again, which means the crowning of a court, a dose of extra drama at Friday's football game, a winding parade, and a traffic jam.
The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. and move from the high school, 37545 Detroit Rd, to the stadium, 3075 Stoney Ridge Rd. Police are telling drivers to find alternate routes if they're planning on driving on Detroit Rd, State Route 611 or Stoney Ridge tonight, so it may not be a great time to work late.
The parade itself should last about 45 minutes, according to the school. Once the parade has safely arrived at the stadium, the Junior-Senior Powder Puff Game will commence. The school is telling families to expect a 7:15 p.m. start time for the game.
