Intoxicated Man Asks Police To Kill Him In Avon Lake
The man was drinking wine outside a local restaurant. When cops got there to shuffle him off, he said he wanted to die.

AVON LAKE, OH — A 23-year-old Avon Lake man asked police to kill him last week. The man was drinking wine outside of a Chinese restaurant and police were called to remove the man from outside the property. When officers arrived, the man said he wanted to kill himself and then asked police to kill him.

Disorderly Conduct, Dec. 18 — Police were called to China Chef for a man that was standing outside the business drinking wine. When officers arrived, the man was extremely intoxicated and was talking about killing himself. At one point, he asked officers to kill him. The man was arrested and taken to Avon Cleveland Clinic for an evaluation.

Theft, Dec. 21 — Someone broke into an Avon Lake construction company's work truck and stole a power tool.
Traffic Complaint, Dec. 22 — An officer on patrol did a random registration check on a vehicle driving on Lear Road with temporary license plates. The owner of the car had a suspended driver's license and the car was pulled over. The driver was cited for driving under suspension.

Disturbance, Dec. 22 — An elderly resident at Beachpark Tower caused a disturbance. Police were called to the scene and spoke to everyone involve and the matter was resolved.
