Killing In Elyria: 2 Arrests Connected To Shooting Death
A 20-year-old man was shot and killed on Monday. On Tuesday, police announced arrests allegedly connected to the death.
ELYRIA, OH — Police have made two arrests in the killing of a 20-year-old Elyria man that happened Monday. The victim was found, bleeding, in the parking lot of a West River Road apartment complex. He was rushed to a hospital but died from his wounds.
The two men arrested by police are Keeon Green Jr., 18, and Lance Cheers, 28, WEWS reported. Both are being charged with aggravated robbery and are currently being held at Lorain County Jail, without bond. They were taken into custody on Tuesday.
Police said Green and Cheers could face additional charges depending on the ongoing investigation. More arrests could also be forthcoming.
