Kindergarten Registration Starts January 6 In Avon Lake

AVON LAKE, OH — Kindergarten registration will open January 6 in Avon Lake. Parents of young children will need to gather a series of documents and attend a registration day to complete the process.

Registration begins with a visit to the Avon Lake Schools' website. Parents should click on the link for "departments" and then select "student registration." A series of instructions will prompt parents registering for the 2020-2021 school year.

Any documents needed for the registration process should then be gathered by parents. Those documents should be brought to one of the district's registration days in February.

Registration days will be held at the Performing Arts Center at Avon Lake High School. Each registration event will run from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Registration days will be held on the following dates:

• Thursday, Feb. 20
• Friday, Feb. 21
• Monday, Feb. 24

Registration days are open to parents only. The district suggests parents make arrangements for daycare during the sessions.
