L'Amour du Vin Fundraiser To Be Held In Avon
The benefit aids the Arthritis Foundation. The event has been called one of the best fundraisers in the world.
From The Arthritis Foundation: The Arthritis Foundation is pleased to announce the 21st Annual L’Amour du Vin, the premier strolling food and wine event of Lorain County and Cleveland’s West Side. Recently named a finalist for Best Charity Event in PuLse Magazine, L’Amour du Vin offers world class wine-tasting and award-winning local cuisine on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. This annual event supports the Arthritis Foundation’s mission to conquer and cure arthritis, the nation’s leading cause of disability.
From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., L'Amour du Vin will host more than 450 guests at Avon Oaks Country Club, 32300 Detroit Road, Avon, OH, 44011. Wine from around the world and food from the area’s best chefs will be featured.
Participating restaurants at this year’s L’Amour du Vin include: 100th Bomb Group; Ahern Catering; Arabica Coffee Bistro; Bistro 83; Blind Perch; Café Piccolo; Emerald Necklace Inn; Gertz Culinary; Heck's of Avon; Kiedrowski's Simply Delicious Bakery; Market, Rocky River; Noodlecat; Polpetta; Wine Bar, Rocky River and Yard House.

VIP ticketholders will enjoy an exclusive lounge where Chef Will Skinner of Gertz Culinary will provide a special food presentation. Cuisine will be paired with fall-inspired cocktail tastings from Brown-Forman and many more surprises to come.
Other event highlights include an exciting silent auction and raffles featuring a collection of restaurant gift certificates valued over $1,000, and a chance to win a getaway to El Dorado, a deluxe gourmet food & wine resort.
