Lorain County Declares Level 2 Snow Emergency

Residents are being asked to only travel if absolutely necessary.

AVON, OH - Lorain County has declared a Level 2 Snow emergency.

Roads are considered extremely dangerous. Strong winds are obscuring visibility and blowing snow back onto roads.

Residents are being asked to avoid driving unless absolutely necessary.

Current forecasts show a possibility of 4 to 10 inches falling between Saturday night and Sunday morning. Flurries should start to taper off by 10 a.m.
