Lorain Credit Union Robbed On Friday
A masked man threatened a teller with a gun and demanded cash. The FBI is hoping the public can help catch the robber.

LORAIN, OH — An unidentified man robbed the GenFed Financial Credit Union in Lorain on Friday afternoon. The FBI is asking the public for help finding the robber.
The robbery happened at 2:15 p.m. on Friday. The man walked into the credit union and handed a note to a teller demanding cash. The man said he had a gun. The teller handed over the cash and the man ran out of the bank. He was last seen going west on Oberlin Avenue.
The suspect is a black man, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a mask that covered most of his face, only his eyes were visible. His clothing included a black skull cap, a black mask, a zip-up jacket, grey sweatpants, white sneakers and black gloves.

Anyone with information on the robbery should contact Lorain police at 440-204-2105, or the Cleveland Division of the FBI at 216-522-1400. Tipsters can be anonymous.
Reward money is available for information leading to the identification and prosecution of the robber, the FBI said.
