Man Gets Belligerent and Threatens Police Officer: Avon Lake Police Blotter
Callers reported that the man was acting suspiciously. When officers arrived, the man became angry and resisted arrest.

AVON LAKE, OH -
Suspended License, Nov. 9 - A 40-year-old Lorain woman was arrested by police after she failed to stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk. Officers found that the woman had a suspended license.
Disorderly Conduct, Nov. 9 - Callers reported a suspicious man in the area of Jaycox Road and Electric Boulevard. When officers arrived, the man became belligerent and threatened an officer. He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Traffic Offense, Nov. 12 - A woman was pulled over for concealing expired license plates. When officers asked her to identify herself, she revealed that she hadn't had a valid license since 2008.
Theft, Nov. 12 - A 36-year-old Forest Hill Drive man reported that someone broke into his unlocked car at night and stole a credit card, sunglasses, and miscellaneous change. The credit card was later used at an area business.

Fraud, Nov. 14 - A 35-year-old Woodfield Drive woman received a bill from Sprint for $8,120. The bill said she owed the money for three months of service. The woman does not have an account with Sprint.
Possession of Drugs, Nov. 14 - Officers were sent to an Avon Lake home for a reported overdose. When they arrived they found the suspect under the influence of drugs. The suspect admitted being under the influence of heroin and was taken to the hospital.
