Man Killed In Stabbing At Elyria Gas Station

ELYRIA, OH — An early morning stabbing in Elyria claimed the life of a 27-year-old man, police said. The identity of the 27-year-old has not yet been released.

A little after midnight on Friday, police were called to Gas Go on Lake Avenue. Callers said a man there was bleeding heavily.

When officers arrived they found a 27-year-old man inside the gas station. He appeared to have multiple stab wounds to his chest, according to News 5. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the man died from his injuries.

Witnesses said they saw a car leaving the gas station after the stabbing. The vehicle was later found at a gas station in Cleveland.
