Man Robs Lorain Bank, Police Need Help ID'ing Suspect

A man robbed Northwest Savings Bank Nov. 5.

LORAIN, OH - A man robbed the Northwest Savings Bank, 3660 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, at about 10:30 a.m. Nov. 5. He presented a demand note telling the clerk that he was robbing the site and threatening physical harm if the teller did not comply. The subject was described as being in his mid-20s, black, approx. 5'8" to 5'10" wearing a pink Nike hoodie and jeans. The hood was pulled up over his face.

The subject fled on foot, a vehicle was not observed, unknown direction of travel at this time. No physical injuries were reported.

Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual responsible.
