Need a break from the blustery Cleveland snow machine? Pay a visit to the Medina Flea Market of Collectables at the Medina Co. Fairgrounds.
We visited this flea market on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014. Conrad and Dowdell Productions sponsors this "treasure hunt" at the Medina County Community Center (Medina County Fairgrounds), 735 Lafayette Road, Medina, Ohio 44256. During the winter months, this huge monthly event is held indoors. But, be prepared to start your day early because the doors open at 6 a.m. If you have something special you are looking for-the earlier you arrive the better!! If you are looking for a lazy day of browsing-sleep in and stop for breakfast at one of Medina's homey little restaurants before you begin your meanderings. Don't linger too long taking in Medina's quaint atmosphere-the Flea Market closes at 3 p.m. There is a lot to see-be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
Hundreds of vendors offering anything your heart desires are waiting to help you find that perfect item. Remember this isn't Giant Eagle-bargaining is welcome. No previous experience is necessary! Most vendors are open to reasonable offers. Don't be shy!

The Medina Flea Market of the Collectables is held once a month on a Sunday. There is a nominal admission fee to enter your treasure hunt. Plenty of parking is available. A great little snack bar is open to provide sustenance if you need to fortify yourself for the hunt!
Be sure to visit in the warm weather, when many more vendors are set up outside.
