Meet Avon Cops During October Event

The national coffee-with-a-cop program will hit Avon next month.

AVON, OH — The national Coffee with a Cop program will make its way to Avon in early October. The event will give residents a chance to meet the men and women that patrol their streets and keep their neighborhoods safe.

The event will be held Wednesday, October 3 at Barry's Bagels. Attendees can come and go between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The event is free and open to residents.

There are no agendas during Coffee with a Cop programs. Instead, residents are free to discuss whatever issues are most pressing to them with police. Attendees can also choose to shoot the breeze, just getting to know the boys and girls in blue.
