Memorial Day 2020: Trash Collection Delays In Avon Lake
There will be no trash or recycling collection on Monday and Thursday collection will be delayed by one day.
AVON LAKE, OH — Memorial Day will disrupt trash and recycling collection in Avon Lake, the city announced this week.
There will be no trash or recycling collection on Monday, May 25, according to the city's contractor, Kimble. The holiday will also cause Thursday trash collection to be delayed by one day.
Kimble restored full service to Avon Lake residents in late April, after a few weeks of limited collection due to COVID-19.
