More Than 1,400 People Without Power In Lorain
Strong winds have caused power outages throughout Northeast Ohio, but Lorain County has been hit hard.

LORAIN, OH — More than 1,400 FirstEnergy customers in Lorain are currently without power, according to the energy company. More than 1,000 people are also without power in Elyria, with scattered outages throughout the rest of Lorain County.
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for most of Northeast Ohio. That means the agency is expecting sustained wind gusts of at least 40 mph until 7 a.m. on Monday.
"Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles," the NWS said in its warning.
