More Than 70 Homes Without Power In Avon Lake
FirstEnergy said the outages were concentrated near Electric Boulevard and Inwood Boulevard.

AVON LAKE, OH — More than 70 people are without power in Avon Lake on Sunday afternoon. FirstEnergy has not yet determined what has caused the outages.
The majority of impact homes are located near the intersection of Electric Boulevard and Inwood Boulevard, according to FirstEnergy. Crews have been dispatched to investigate the outages and power should be restored by 5 p.m., the company said.
FirstEnergy provides a power outages map to track current power outages in Northeast Ohio. Avon Lake isn't the only town in Lorain County experiencing outages on Sunday, though it has been hit the hardest.

Carlisle Township currently has 28 customers without power. Lorain has scattered outages within its borders, as well.
The weekend forecast called for rain and possible thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon, mainly before 4 p.m. Winds weren't expected to blow harder than about 15 mph though, according to the National Weather Service.
