Multi-Car Accident Claims Life Of Lorain Toddler
The 21-month-old was declared dead on Saturday. He was being treated at University Hospitals in Cleveland.

AMHERST TOWNSHIP, OH — A 21-month-old toddler has died from injuries suffered during a multi-car crash on SR 2 in early August. The accident also caused the death of a 12-year-old girl.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner said Daniel Turner, 1, died on Saturday. He was being cared for at University Hospitals' Cleveland Medical Center.
The multi-vehicle accident happened August 8. A box truck hit a Jeep Liberty, which led to a domino-effect of other collisions. The 12-year-old girl had to be extricated from her car and flown to a local hospital for treatment. She passed away on August 10.

Three other people were hurt in the crash.
The driver of the box truck, a Canton man, may be charged for his role in the collision. The Ohio State Highway Patrol believes drugs may have played a part in the crash, the Chronicle Telegram reported. Investigation into the circumstance of the crash continues.
