Narcan Given To Man Vomiting In Avon Lake Park
The man had to be taken to Cleveland Clinic Avon after he passed out in Miller Road Park.
AVON LAKE, OH — Officers gave several doses of an anti-overdose drug to a man on Miller Road, according to police reports.
At 10:15 p.m. on May 29, Avon Lake citizens called police and said a man had fallen over and was vomiting near Miller and Lake roads. Police determined the man was at the pier at Miller Road Park.
Officers found the man unconscious on the pier. They gave him several doses of Narcan — an anti-overdose drug for opioids.

A hypodermic syringe was found in the man's shorts. Police said he will be charged for possession of drug abuse instruments.
The man was rushed to Cleveland Clinic Avon for treatment.

According to Avon Lake Municipal Court records, the man has been formally charged with possession of drug abuse instruments. A warrant has been issued for the man's arrest.
