Neighbors Engage in Petty Feud, Flip Each Other Off, Get Warned by Police: Avon Lake Police Blotter
The Hatfield and the McCoys it's not. But these neighbors do need to calm down.

AVON LAKE, OH -
Drug Activity, Nov. 3 - An Oakwood Drive man overdosed at about 9 p.m. Police arrived at the house and sent the man to St. John Westshore for medical attention.
Burglary, Nov. 4 - A 17-year-old left his bedroom window unlocked overnight. The next day money was missing from his wallet.

Criminal Mischief, Nov. 6 - Someone spray painted a garage door on Moore Road.
Disturbance, Nov. 9 - A 20-year-old flipped off his neighbor while driving because he felt he was being harassed. The neighbor was allegedly videotaping the 20-year-old. The neighbor then went to police and reported the incident. Apparently there has been a series of petty Hatfield-McCoy moments between the two and police have warned both to cease future annoyances.

Suspicious Activity, Nov. 10 - Two juveniles were arrested after an officer saw a suspicious car parked near the intersection of Walker Road and Legends Row. The two juveniles were found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They were also violating curfew. Both were released to their parents.
Fraud, Nov. 10 - Someone opened a credit card in a Marbrook Lane woman's name. The new card was mailed to her home. No charges were made and the resident called and cancelled the card.
Fraud, Nov. 12 - Two fraudulent checks were cashed in a Pondside Drive man's name in October. The amount stolen totaled $9000.06. When the victim made contact with his bank they requested he file a police report. The account the money was taken from has been frozen.
Fraud, Nov. 15 - A cellphone was purchased using an Armour Road man's information. The man was only tipped to the fraudulent purchase when a collection notice came in the mail. The cell phone company is going to investigate the purchase.
