New Stop Light On Krebs Road Will Turn On Dec. 26
The traffic lights will be turned on, fully, the day after Christmas.

AVON LAKE, OH — Drivers that use Krebs and Lear roads will soon have a new stop light to grapple with. The city announced on its website that a new traffic signal will be fully activated on Dec. 26 at the intersection.
The Krebs-Lear intersection has undergone construction throughout 2017. In late February, city council approved a $1.2 million project designed to relieve traffic congestion at the intersection.
By late July, the city was warning commuters that they could expect delays when travelling through the intersection. In fact, Lear Road was briefly closed between July 24 and July 28 to allow for construction work to be completed.

As the new light gets activated, the city asked that residents drive with extra caution in the area. Drivers will need time to get acclimated to the new traffic patterns.
