New Welcome Signs Coming To Avon Lake: Vote
Residents can cast their vote on which welcome signs they want to see posted throughout their town.

AVON LAKE, OH — Soon, entering Avon Lake will look a little different. The city is buying new welcome signs to place along streets leading into the municipality.
The signs will be made of recycled plastic, which means the signs should be maintenance free. The new signs will be paid for through a recycling grant program.
The city receives the money through the grant based on the amount of materials the residents recycle. Avon Lake says on its website that, per capita, the city recycles more than any other community in Lorain County.
