Kasich won the Ohio primary election boasting an impressive 47 percent of the Republican vote — compared to Donald Trump's 36 percent, Sen. Ted Cruz's 13 percent, and Sen. Marco Rubio's 3 percent. It was an important home-state win for Kasich, who picked up all of Ohio’s 66 delegate. He’ll need every one of them to overtake the GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, who still holds a commanding lead in the delegate count.

Clinton won the democratic race by a margin of nearly 14 percent. Clinton was victorious with 57 percent of the vote compared to Sanders’ 45 percent.
