OHSAA Releases First High School Football Rankings: Where Is Avon?
The Ohio High School Athletic Association ranked the top 12 teams in each division and each region across the state.

AVON, OH - It feels good to be at the top of the mountain. The Avon High School football team is currently ranked first in Division II, Region 6, according to the Ohio High School Athletic Association's first weekly ranking computer rankings.
The Eagles have rolled out to a 4-0 start, beating Avon Lake, North Olmsted, Strongsville, and Midview. The Avon boys will host Westlake this Friday for their homecoming game.
The weekly computer ratings are released every Tuesday afternoon beginning after the fourth week of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday morning, Oct. 30. The full region 1 rankings are below:
