OHSAA Releases First High School Football Rankings: Where Is Avon Lake?

AVON LAKE, OH - The Avon Lake High School football team is currently ranked third in Division II, Region 6, according to the Ohio High School Athletic Association's first weekly ranking computer rankings.

The Shoremen have jumped out to a 3-1 start, their only loss of the season coming to rival Avon. Avon Lake will host North Ridgeville on Friday.

The weekly computer ratings are released every Tuesday afternoon beginning after the fourth week of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday morning, Oct. 30. The full region 1 rankings are below:
