Pancake Breakfast Benefits Avon Schools Bands

AVON, OH — The Avon Band and Orchestra Boosters are holding their annual pancake breakfast fundraiser on December 8. The morning will include a 50-50 raffle, performances from various bands and small businesses offering products for the holidays.

The event will be held at Avon High School from 8 a.m. to noon. The breakfast includes pancakes, eggs and sausage. The entire community is invited to attend.

Tickets for the breakfast must be purchased a the door (cash and personal checks will be accepted as payment). Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and free will donation for children ages 5 and younger.

Throughout the breakfast, student bands from the Avon Schools will perform. The schedule for performances is:

• 6th grade Jazz Band - 9:30 a.m.
• 7th and 8th grade Jazz Band - 10 a.m.
• The Funk Unit - 10:30 a.m.
• Wired - 11 a.m.
• Big Band - 11:30 a.m.

Students performing at the breakfast will get a free breakfast ticket.

During the breakfast, guests can take part in a 50-50 raffle. There will also be consultants and small businesses at the high school, so attendees can knock out some holiday shopping while chowing down.
