Paul Fagan was hit with all of the Washington Wild Things' runs in the first two innings, and the weren't able to mount a comeback, losing, 5-2, Monday night in front of a crowd of 2,511 at .

Luis Rivera hit a two-out, two-run homer in the first inning to get the Wild Things on the scoreboard. Three more runs came in the second inning.

The Crushers scored both their runs in the fourth inning. Kellen Kulbacki drove home Andrew Davis with an RBI double. Kulbacki then scored on a double play.

Fagan (4-9,Β 4.43 earned run average)Β went seven innings, giving up six hits while striking out five and walking one.

Davis led the Crushers with two hits, and extended his on-base streak to 36 games.
