Pedestrian Killed In Hit-and-Run In Sheffield Lake
A 49-year-old woman crossing the street was struck by a car and killed. The car left the scene and police are looking for the driver.

SHEFFIELD LAKE, OH — A 49-year-old woman was hit by a car and killed while crossing the street on Sunday night. Law enforcement are looking for the driver of the vehicle that struck her.
Roslyn Arroyo, 49, of Lorain, was trying to cross SR 57 when she was hit by a car. Despite being rushed to University Hospitals, Arroyo passed away from her injuries, Fox 8 reported.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol post in Elyria is investigating the incident. They said the car fled the scene. Anyone with information on the vehicle, the driver, or the hit-and-run should contact law enforcement at (440) 365-5045.

Few details about the vehicle or the driver were released by Monday morning. Fox 8 reported the vehicle was white, but the identity of the driver is still unknown.
