Planned Electrical Outage Will Impact Some Avon Lake Residents

The Illuminating Company will be shutting off power to part of Avon Lake on Tuesday, so crews can perform electrical repairs.

AVON LAKE, OH - There will be a planned electrical outage in Avon Lake on Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The city said the outage will impact Illuminating Company customers near Ambleside Drive and Crossings Way. If there is inclement weather, the outage will be delayed by one day, to June 19.

Current forecasts from the National Weather Service, suggest Tuesday will be a foggy, grey day but otherwise dry. There is little chance of precipitation until Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

The city said the planned outage will allow Illuminating Company crews to conduct electrical repairs.
