Planned Power Outage Scheduled For Avon Lake
Residents on Inwood Boulevard and Brookfield Road will have a multi-hour planned outage this month.
AVON LAKE, OH — The Illuminating Company will be performing repairs on some of its equipment in Avon Lake on October 18. To facilitate the work, residents near Inwood Boulevard and Brookfield Road will have a multi-hour power outage.
The power will be interrupted starting at 8 a.m. that Thursday. Power should be returned by 2 p.m.
Inclement weather could delay the Illuminating Company's plans. If conditions are bad on October 18, the planned power outage will be rescheduled to Friday, October 19, the city announced.

Anyone with questions about the power outage should contact the Illuminating Company at 1-800-589-3101.
"The Illuminating Company thanks you for your patience and understanding while this work is performed to improve your electric service reliability," the company said in a message to residents.
