A Gramercy Lane resident reported hearing gunfire on May 30. Police determined the shots came from American Legion members practicing for Memorial Day.

Home injury
A man on Berkshire Road fell from a roof May 30 while making repairs to his home. He was transported to St. John West Shore hospital with a head injury.

It’s not a nude beach
On May 29 a Westlake man took off his clothes at Miller Road Park Beach. The man was ejected from the park and advised. Avon Lake police learned the man has mental health issues.
