Power Outage Planned For Part Of Avon Lake
On April 11, parts of the city will have intentional power outages for more than five hours.

AVON LAKE, OH — Residents near and on Rachel Lane will lose their power on April 11 between 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The outages are intentional and will allow for safe construction work.
The city said the power outages will facilitate electrical repairs in the area. The roughly 5.5 hour interruption in service is weather dependent, the city said.
If there is inclement weather, the planned outage would be rescheduled for Friday, April 12.
