Revolver-Wielding Suspect Robs Lorain Bank

LORAIN, OH — A revolver-wielding man robbed the Chase Bank on Leavitt Road on Monday afternoon, the FBI said. Now investigators want the public's help identifying and finding the suspect.

The robbery happened at about 12:30 p.m. on Monday. A man wearing a gray hoodie, tan pants, a black ski mask, and gloves came into the Chase Bank, carrying a black revolver, and demanded money. He then ran out of the bank. The FBI said it is not releasing information on the getaway vehicle yet.

The suspect was described as a black man, believed to be in his 40s. The FBI said the man appeared to be working alone, and he is the lone suspect in the robbery.

Tips can be provided to the Cleveland FBI at 216-522-1400 or to the Lorain Police Department at 440-204-2105. Tips can remain anonymous and reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual responsible, the FBI said.
