Robber Hits First Merit Bank in Grafton, Do You Recognize the Suspect?
Help police identify the man that robbed the bank on Nov. 25.

GRAFTON, OH - Police are asking for help in identifying a man that robbed a bank in Grafton on Nov. 25.
The First Merit Bank located at 432 Main Street in Grafton was hit at about 5 p.m.. The suspect is described as a white male, in his 50s, approximately 5'5", chubby build, approximately 180 lbs. The unknown suspect was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black mask with holes in the mouth area for ventilation.
The man demanded money from a pair of tellers and threatened to pullout and use a gun if the two tellers did not comply. No gun was ever actually seen. The unknown man may have fled in a charcoal grey Pontiac, possibly a Bonneville or Oldsmobile. Witnesses reported different models.

Tips can be reported to the Grafton Police Department or the Cleveland Division of the FBI. Tips can remain anonymous. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual responsible.
