Rocking Chairs Dedicated at Folger Home

Heritage Avon Lake, with the help of Polywood Manufacturing and local families, dedicated nine rocking chairs for the Folger Home porch. A short ceremony was held Tuesday evening and Gerry Vogel, President of HAL, made a short presentation thanking all the supporters of this project. These chairs were "funded" by local families to honor loved ones. Not only were many of the rocking chairs donated by Polywood, the engraved plaques were also a donation from Randall's Team Shop in Avon Lake. Nick Yarham from Northern Hammerworks,helped with the installation. The idea of putting chairs on the porch was birthed by the Board of Trustees at Heritage Avon Lake early last year and after receiving, building, and getting the dedication plaques made, the idea has finally come to fruition.

Stop by the Folger Home and enjoy a beautiful lake view and maybe a sunset or two.
