Ronald P. “R.P.” LaScola, 85, Past Grand Knight

Ronald P. “R.P.” LaScola, 85, of Avon Lake, passed away Feb. 11, 2012. He was born Sept. 1, 1926.

Mr. LaScola was a proud US Army veteran who served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater in WWII as a staff sergeant. 

He was a Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Father Ragan Council and a retired supervisor of Republic Steel. 

Mr. LaScola was the loving husband of the late Jennie. He is survived by daugther Nancy (Robert) Dietz; sons Larry (Kim), Paul (Kristen) and Michael; grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of six.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday Feb. 18, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Chapel in Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. in North Olmsted.
