Running Car Parked On Moore Road, Driver Arrested
The driver has been charged with operating a vehicle impaired and possession of cocaine, according to court records.
AVON LAKE, OH — A little before 6 p.m., a four-door sedan was found stopped in the middle of Moore Road. The car was just south of the train tracks cutting through the city of Avon.
Avon Police contacted their Avon Lake counterparts and asked for help dealing with the vehicle. The car was running and the driver appeared to be passed out behind the wheel.
Officers arrived and investigated the parked Infiniti G35. The driver was, indeed, passed out and slumped over the console of his car, police said.

The driver, a 31-year-old from Elyria, was roused and then arrested.
Police are charging the man with possession of cocaine, a third-degree felony, and operating a vehicle impaired, and driving with a suspended license, according to court records.

The man was arraigned on Nov. 27.
