'Screenagers' Film Comes To Avon Lake
Worried about the effects of increased screen time on teenagers? This upcoming film presentation could be for you.

AVON LAKE, OH — Parents interested in how screen time impacts their children can attend an upcoming screening of the film "Screenagers" at Avon Lake High. The movie will be followed by a panel discussion on the same topic.
The moving is being screened (excuse the pun) by the Avon Lake City Schools and the Avon Lake PTA Council. Parents of all district students are invited to attend, as are students older than 10.
The event will be held Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Avon Lake High School Performing Arts Center, 175 Avon Belden Road.

After the documentary finishes, a panel will convene and discuss the effects of screen time on children. The panel will include the Avon Lake Cit Schools social worker, a mental health professional, faculty members from the district, and some Avon Lake High students.
