Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Place For Lorain County
The storm could produce hail, high winds, heavy rainfall and could cause significant damage.
AVON, OH — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Lorain County. The NWS warns that severe thunderstorms can cause high wind, hail, heavy rainfall, and significant damage in the region.
The watch will remain in place until 9 p.m. Friday evening. The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) has a set of tips to help residents prepare for possible power outages.
