'She Makes Us Feel Important': Avon Lake Hero
An Avon Lake woman has organized a fundraiser to help get protective equipment to prison workers in two Ohio prisons.
AVON LAKE, OH — This week, we asked Avon and Avon Lake residents to submit anyone they felt deserved recognition for their efforts to help others during the new coronavirus outbreak. In less than 24 hours, submissions have already started rolling in.

I am a corrections officer at Grafton prison and my wife has put together a fundraiser to help supply PPE and meals for all the officers that work at both Grafton and Lorain prison to help make them feel as important as they truly are.
