Shoremen Battle Bees to the Wire

The boys varsity basketball team lost 50-45 in a hard fought game to Brecksville Tuesday in another close finish.

Sophomores Ben Oxley and Seth Muck stepped up to help in an effort that came up just short. It was an aggressive contest with the Shoremen trailing all game by an average of 4 points.

Logan Dilik sank a three pointer with one minute left to play, but that’s the closest the Shoremen got to a victory on this night.

Eric Stuczynski was high score with 12 points followed by Jimmy Hessel with 10. The Shoremen (5-7-0) host the Berea Braves (5-7-0) this Friday night.

JV fell to Brecksville in a defensive struggle 32-28 dropping them to a 9-3 record. The freshman boys won jumping their overall record to 7-2.
