Stolen Vehicle Found Parked In Avon Lake
Police said the vehicle was parked outside an Avon Lake condo and abandoned. K-9 units were brought in to track possible suspects.
AVON LAKE, OH — A stolen car was found parked outside an Avon Lake condominium last Thursday, police announced.
At 1:50 a.m., patrolling officers located a stolen vehicle on Ashberry Lane, parked outside a condo. The vehicle was empty.
Avon Lake Police brought in K-9 units to sniff out a trail. The animals brought police westward, to Moore Road, near the railroad tracks, but no suspect was located.

The vehicle was recovered by police. According to records, the vehicle was originally stolen from a 51-year-old Lorain man.

Lorain Police were notified that the vehicle had been found, though no suspect has been identified.
