Street Closures Coming Near Avon

AVON, OH — A pair of impending street closures could impact residents in Avon and Avon Lake in the coming weeks. (To stay up to date on local stories, subscribe to the Patch Avon-Avon Lake newsletter. As news breaks and the story develops, you will be the first to receive updates from Patch.)

First, Sheffield Village told the city of Avon that Colorado Avenue (Route 611) will be closed west of Abbe Road for railroad crossing repairs. The closure will take place July 17 through July 21.

Then, the city of Avon Lake also told Avon that Lear Road, at the railroad tracks, will be closed July 24 to July 28.
