Suspicious Man Approaches Children In Swimming Pool In Avon Lake

AVON LAKE, OH — A suspicious man may have approached a group of children in a backyard swimming pool, according to Avon Lake police reports.

At 7 p.m. on June 5, three girls were swimming in a backyard pool behind a house on Brookfield Road. As the girls swam, they saw a man walk into the backyard. The man had an average build and was wearing a mask and black clothing.

The man walked toward the home's driveway and appeared to be talking to someone. He then turned and walked away from the house.

After seeing the man, the girls ran inside the house and told their parents. None of the adults saw anyone matching the man's description near the house.
