Teen Life Flighted After Head Injury In Avon Lake

AVON LAKE, OH — A 17-year-old girl fell from a moving vehicle and struck her head on late Tuesday night, police said. The teenager was eventually taken to MetroHealth Hospital via Life Flight, police said.
Details on what happened to the girl are scarce, but here's what police shared: the teenager fell from a moving vehicle at about 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The fall happened on Sunset Road.
Police and paramedics responded to the scene. While paramedics assisted the teenager, police started gathering information on what happened. The 17-year-old was taken to St. John's Medical Center and, from there, was taken to MetroHealth for further treatment.

The girl is currently in critical condition, Fox 8 reported.
