Teen Shot, Killed In Lorain On Thursday Night

LORAIN, OH — A 17-year-old girl was shot and killed in Lorain on Thursday night. Police said several persons of interest are being interviewed.

At 11:15 p.m., callers said shots had been fired near W. 25th and Kelly Place. As officers were heading to the area, a 19-year-old contacted police and said his friend had been shot.

Officers found the 17-year-old in the passenger seat of the man's Jeep. She pronounced dead on the spot.

The 17-year-old has not been identified, according to News 5.

Several persons of interest have been identified and police are working to interview those people.
