Thief Caught On Camera In Avon Lake
The prowler has been hitting unlocked cars throughout the city. A resident's CCTV camera caught him in the act.
AVON LAKE, OH — Police have released CCTV footage of a prowler that stole items from several unlocked vehicles in Avon Lake on July 28. While the thief does not manage to get into the vehicle in the camera footage, Avon Lake Police say several cars were rifled through and had items taken from them.
Prowlers have been targeting unlocked vehicles throughout the city for a while. The last notable incident occurred on July 19 when an unlocked vehicle on Angela Lane was targeted and had several items taken from it.
