Threats Made Toward Lorain Schools, Adult Man Arrested
Police said they were alerted to social media threats against the school district on Wednesday. The posts were traced to an Elyria man.

LORAIN, OH — An Elyria man has been accused of making threats against the Lorain Schools on social media, police said. Law enforcement arrested the man on Wednesday.
Anonymous tipsters alerted police to the social media posts on Feb. 20. Lorain Police immediately deployed officers to all of the Lorain school buildings. The threats did not specify a building or individual, according to the Lorain Schools.
Law enforcement in Elyria connected the posts to a local man, who was tracked down and arrested. The man had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and will be charged with inducing panic.

The man reportedly posted on Facebook, telling people not to send kids to the Lorain Schools. "I'm gonna shoot them all 100%..." the man posted on Facebook, according to the Lorain Police.
