Tim Kaine Campaigning for Hillary Clinton in Lorain

The Democratic vice presidential nominee will also make a stop in Columbus, Ohio on Oct. 27.

LORAIN, OH - Tim Kaine will stump for running mate Hillary Clinton at the Lorain High School Auxiliary Gym, 2600 Ashland Avenue, Oct. 27. The event runs from 12:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.

According to the campaign website, Kaine will return to Ohio to encourage Ohioans to take advantage of in-person early voting, make a plan to vote early, and to support him and Clinton.

The race in Ohio is extremely tight heading up to Election Day on Nov. 8. The race in Ohio is so tight, in fact, that a new poll from Suffolk University has Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump tied at 45 percent in the state. The poll of 500 likely Ohio voters was conducted just prior to the third presidential debate. Trump led by 3 points in Ohio a month ago in the same poll, holding a 42-to-39 percent advantage over Clinton.

Both campaigns have been sending surrogates to stump hard in the Buckeye State. For the Clinton campaign that has meant visits from Kaine, Chelsea Clinton, President Barack Obama, Jay-Z, and Hillary. For the Trump campaign, Donald Trump Jr., Governor Mike Pence, and Trump himself.

As the election nears, the race is still very much in the air and Ohioans can expect plenty more visits from candidates and their surrogates and a myriad of ads.
