Traffic Pattern Change On Electric Boulevard

AVON LAKE, OH - Drivers in Avon Lake will see a change while cruising through the city this week. Travelers can now turn right at the intersection of Avon Belden Road and Electric Boulevard. The sign banning right way turns was removed Tuesday morning, police say.

The Avon Lake Police Department announced the change on its Facebook on Tuesday morning, noting that drivers should approach the intersection with caution because it will take time for everyone to adjust to the new traffic patterns.

The department noted that westbound traffic on Electric Boulevard may have the right of way with the green arrow while turning left. Police believe that change could take time to adjust to.
