Trash Collection Returns To Normal In Avon
Bulk waste collection will resume May 4, the city announced.

AVON, OH — As Ohio prepares for the gradual reopening of its economy, other facets of daily life are approaching a return to normal. For Avon residents, that means trash collection will again follow its old routines.
Republic Services has resumed all of its trash collection services. Yard waste collection started April 20 and bulk waste collection will resume May 4.
In neighboring Avon Lake, trash collection has also largely returned to normal, with Kimble agreeing to collect most of its typical things.

Here's what the state's phased reopening plan looks like:
- May 1 — There will be an opening of health care facilities around Ohio. All procedures or operations that do not require an overnight stay in a hospital will be able to move forward, DeWine said. Dentists and veterinarians can also resume all of their work.
- May 4 — General offices, manufacturing, distribution and construction will be opened up.
- May 12 — Consumer retail and services can reopen.
